Pascal Siakam Injury Update

Pascal Siakam Undergoes Successful Surgery, Leaving Raptors in Pain

Raptors Star Sidelined with Groin Injury

Surgery Successful, Recovery Timeline Uncertain

The Toronto Raptors have announced that Pascal Siakam underwent successful surgery on Friday to repair a torn groin muscle. The surgery was performed by Dr. David Altchek in New York City.

"The surgery went well and Pascal is resting comfortably," said Raptors President Masai Ujiri. "We are still gathering information on the full extent of the injury, but we expect him to make a full recovery.

Siakam, a four-time All-Star, is one of the most important players on the Raptors. He is averaging 24.8 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game this season.

The Raptors are currently 22-24 on the season and in seventh place in the Eastern Conference. They are in the midst of a three-game losing streak.

Siakam's injury is a major blow to the Raptors, who are already without Fred VanVleet (knee) and OG Anunoby (finger). The team will have to rely on other players to step up in Siakam's absence.

The Raptors will provide an update on Siakam's condition when more information is available.
