Switching User Profiles on Your Amazon Fire Tablet

The Amazon Fire Tablet offers the convenience of multiple user profiles, allowing you to easily personalize the experience for different users. Whether you want to separate settings, apps, and content for kids and adults or simply prefer to have your own dedicated space, switching between profiles is a breeze.

Add and Switch Profiles

To create additional user profiles, head to Settings > Profiles > Family Library. Here, you can add an adult or child profile and customize their preferences. Once you have set up your profiles, you can effortlessly switch between them by swiping down from the top of the screen to pull out the Notifications panel. Tap the Profile icon and select the desired profile to complete the transition.

Amazon Fire Kids Edition

For the Amazon Fire Kids Edition Tablet, switching profiles requires a slightly different approach. In the 2019 model, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the Kids icon. Select the "Exit Kids Mode" option and enter the parental passcode. Then, you can tap the Profile icon and switch to any of the existing profiles.
